Antique figurines and vases are heirlooms that are protected by the family. If you had broken a Lladro or Hummel figurine. What are the options for restoring broken Lladro or hummels figurines?

The restoration company has four different options to offer:

  1. Rebonding – putting back the pieces of the figurine together without retouching on its color. This is the simplest and the cheapest service.
  2. Invisible – The pieces are put together and color and polish is put in to blend with its original finish. The restored area cannot be noticed. This type is the most expensive.
  3. Oriental – areas of the figurine have holes so that it has to be filled and retouched with a gold laquer or leaf. There is minimal repair of decorative area.
  4. Museum – the restored areas can match the base color and body colors.

Care is needed in handling the restored objects. It should not be placed in a room where sunlight can come in and should now be handled immaculately.
