Security is of the utmost concern, for a bank. That’s why you won’t really see a bank that’s without a visual monitoring system. There are video surveillance systems that are meant to deter criminals from even attempting anything by their mere presence, visual presence; there are systems out there that are meant to really be hidden, hidden from plain view, hidden from known facts about the people that are being monitored, about the targets, and the suspicious parties. There are systems that are meant to be integrated into the rest of the actual infrastructure, in such a way that it’s impossible to really separate the surveillance systems from the actual infrastructure; and granted, for as long as employees aren’t being taken advantage of, or exploited in some manipulated fashion, this is all perfectly legal; this is all ethical and on the up and up, in fact it’s encouraged, to help improve efficiency.
