The Benefits of Exercise in Dog Training
Oct 3rd
Do you know how important regular walking or running routine is to your dog’s training? Do you wonder why do you have to give your dog frequent walks and long runs? Perhaps you’re also uninformed of the many benefits of physical exercise when planning to do dog training.
Exercising your dog is a must if you want to achieve effective dog training. Why? Well, how can you expect a physically unfit or sickly dog to be able to effortlessly carry out your every training command? Just like humans, canines also need mental and physical exercises in order to function well, be always alert and stay healthy inside and out.
The more physical exercises you can give your dog just before you undertake a range of dog training activity, the more prepared and enthusiastic he becomes. Moreover, dogs that are given plenty of exercise tend to become more attentive and obedient. Your dog is less likely to roam around, chase other dogs, jump at people, whine or dig and chew furniture.
A Better Fixture Would Be Nice
Sep 28th
I am just too cheap of a person, and that is what is not working out for me in terms of this aquarium hobby. I just don’t like to spend money on stuff, and this aquarium is always needing me to spend money on it in some form. I don’t know how much longer this will keep up.
The newest thing that I am in need of is a new aquarium lighting fixture, I don’t know where I’m going to get one, or if it will make sense to buy one now, but I feel that this would be the single area that could benefit from me spending some money on at the moment. I think my current bulbs are just worn out, and a different type of fixture with greater intensity and more color in the light would make things look so much more awesome. I will have to check out what my local store has this weekend, maybe they have something on sale or something used to buy.
Make A Compromise With Your Kitty – Buy A Scratching Post!
Aug 21st
Cats are adorable – fluffy, affectionate, smart, stubborn, funny, indifferent, lazy, independent… It seems that you can always find something more to say or observe about these fascinating little felines. Did you ever wonder why Egyptians considered that cats are sacred?
Well, sacred or not, they are our beloved pets and… they scratch! Our furniture, our carpets, our curtains, paper rolls, newspapers, even our clothes! Do you think that it’s possible to talk them out of this habit, or maybe bribe them to behave nicely? Or are you one of those barbarians who think that it’s appropriate to punish a cat for being a normal feline?
One way or the other, your kitty will still continue to scratch. That’s why, instead of wasting time and effort on a meaningless ‘training’, you should solve the problem wisely, by providing your pet a cat scratching post. These types of cat furniture will allow your pet to scratch, stretch, climb and play as much as she wants without shredding your belongings and your nerves!
